Yes, there's a reason why this blog is called kud kud kundi! You see, once upon a time, in a land far far away, were some very hyper 19 year olds who loved getting violent and bashing up their own friends for no apparant reason. On one such glorious night, Manish was getting it on by kicking the life out of Rajesh at my apartment, in my bedroom. In a dextrous move, Rajesh quickly changed his position and Manish ended up kicking my bed real hard. And that's when it happened! Man down!
Manish fell on the floor, his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he started getting convulsions. While all of us (those participating in the fight or otherwise) hovered around him to make sense out of what was happening, Rajesh famously quipped, "Abbe...isko kud kud kundi ho gaya!".
And with that was born the phrase that would last in our vocabulary for a lifetime. There was almost immediate laughter in the room, with more attention being given to "kud kud kundi" than Manish. And yeah, Manish survived to listen to the story.
Five years later, we pay homage to the famed phrase - with a blog dedicated to all the crap we said and did. And the crap we continue to say and do!
